PetCARE TV produces educational video segments for pet owners to view in veterinary practices and at home. The in-practice video subscriptions are available in the form of quarterly DVDs and via broadband delivery. Videos aired in the waiting room or exam room help to reduce the perceived waiting time and encourage better communication during the exam. Segments address seasonal and wellness concerns and always refer back to the veterinarian for acute care. PetCARE TV also creates ‘Send Home’ DVDs for veterinary practices to give owners of new or aging pets. “Your New Pet” helps reduce new pet relinquishment by focusing on early ownership issues, such as socialization and behavior modification. “Your Senior Pet” conveys the changing needs of older pets and the need for more frequent office visits.
